Teckra is a boutique technical recruitment partner operating in Belgium and the Benelux region, specialising in Engineering, Industrial IT, Data, DevOps, Automation and Mechanical profiles.

From candidates:

• Name, contact details (email, phone, location)

• CV and professional background (work history, education, skills, languages)

• Job preferences and availability

• Any additional information shared during the screening process

From companies (clients):

• Company name, contact person, role and contact details

• Vacancy details and hiring requirements

Via the website:

• Data submitted through contact and candidate intake forms

• Technical data collected via cookies (see Cookie Policy)

Teckra does not collect sensitive personal data such as information relating to race, religion, health, sexual orientation or political views.
 

2. Legal basis for processing

Teckra processes personal data on the following legal bases in accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR:

Article 6(1)(f) — Legitimate interest: sourcing, screening and matching candidates with relevant opportunities, and improving the quality of our website and services

Article 6(1)(a) — Consent: marketing communications and newsletters; you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal

Article 6(1)(b) — Contractual necessity: managing relationships with client companies and fulfilling recruitment assignments
 

3. How does Teckra use this data?

Teckra processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

4. With whom does Teckra share data?

With your consent — sharing your candidate profile with a prospective employer requires your prior agreement.

Third-party service providers — Teckra may use tools such as Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or LinkedIn. These providers may process data on servers outside the EU. Such transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) as approved by the European Commission.

For legal reasons — when required to comply with applicable law, legal proceedings or enforceable requests from public authorities.

In case of business transfer — if Teckra is involved in a merger or change of ownership, confidentiality of personal data will be maintained and you will be informed before any transfer occurs.
 

5. How long does Teckra keep your data?

Teckra retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Candidate data is generally retained for 2 years from the last point of contact, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless you have given consent for longer retention.

Please note that in some cases data may be retained for longer periods where required by legal, regulatory, tax or accounting obligations, or to maintain an accurate record in the event of complaints or disputes.
 

6. How can you access, correct or delete your data?
